Tailor-made kitchen
A tailor-made kitchen designed to be lived in.
This project consists of the design and manufacture of a completely customized kitchen in a house in Oleiros (A Coruña), conceived as a space where functionality, design and warmth coexist in a natural way.
From The House by Grupo Malasa we develop and manufacture all the kitchen furniture, creating a proposal fully integrated with the architecture and style of the rest of the house.

An open and functional layout.
The kitchen is organized around a peninsula resting on one of its sides, which integrates the water area and a breakfast bar that arises from the extension of the countertop. This configuration allows the kitchen to function as an open space, comfortable and designed to be shared.
The kitchen, with an open style, is made of black Viroc board with a matte varnish finish, a material that provides character, sobriety and a great coherence with the whole house.
Tailor-made solutions integrated into the architecture.
One of the most unique elements of the project is the sliding door, whose structure is also made of varnished Viroc board, with barn-type guides in black finish, designed and manufactured completely to measure to integrate naturally into the space.
This type of solution allows the carpentry not to be an added element, but part of the language of the house itself.
A kitchen to use, share and enjoy.
The kitchen is one of the spaces where most time is spent. It is not only for cooking: it is for conversation, sharing and living.
Therefore, in this project the objective was to unite functionality, style and warmth, demonstrating that a kitchen can be practical without renouncing to feel cozy. The choice of materials and every design decision were oriented to achieve that balance.
